The Japanese on Chocolates

Some marketing genius ‘japanized’ Valentine’s Day into a day when, get this, the women buy los hombres chocolates! I guess this resulted in a mammoth rise in chocolate sales in Japan and subsequently prompted a new series of chocolates. Man chocolates. Meow.
Like wrenches! Classic.
Deer droppings! (Mercy, look at that deer cackle! I’d shit myself too.)
Chocolate Beetle Larvae.
And, finally, the ever popular Lady Bird chocolates in fuschia and lime green.
Some of you may have read my small, jealous ode to Switzerland yesterday. I don’t think it’s too early to speculate that Japan will be the next up against the wall. And, yes, Chile I have my eye on you too - Ya te veo, Chile. Ya te veo.
